Extra Sharp Pencil Skirt – 2 sessions sale in uk
This classic, unlined pencil skirt will have you looking sharp whenever you wear it. The skirt includes side panels, a back yoke detail, and a back walking vent. Because it has no seams, the front panel allows use of almost any patterned fabric, including bold prints. View A is just-above-the-knee length with straight-cut side panels. View B ends just below the knee and features bias-cut side panels. Fit can be easily customized using the side-panel seams.
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: Intermediate. You know how to thread a machine, sew a straight line and wind a bobbin. This is not your first garment workshop. You have experience tracing a pattern, making clothing, and feel confident cutting out your fabric.
- We provide: The studio space, swedish tracing paper, tools and expertise.
- You bring: a copy of the pattern (available in-store), fabric you love (yardage is based on your measurements, refer to pattern) suggested fabrics are light-medium weight fabrics such as denim, light canvas, twill, wool suiting, cottons with some stretch, or linen/cotton blend, plus a 10” invisible zipper, lightweight woven fusible interfacing, 1 1/4 yard of 1/4” cotton twill tape, 1 1/2 yards of 3/8-1/2” ribbon to finish hem, as well as coordinating thread for visible top stitching.
- Class length: 3 per session for a total of 6 hours.
