Recommended Fabric
Main Fabric: Light to Medium weight wovens such as quilting cotton, flannel, shirting, linen, or other comfortable and breathable natural materials.
Materials Needed
- Binding (to finish inside of waistband): 1.7 yds. Purchase pre-made double-fold bias tape (any width) or make your own.
- Elastic: 1.5″ wide elastic
Optional Drawstring:
- Interfacing: A 2″ x 4″ scrap of fusible interfacing to reinforce buttonholes.
- Drawstring: 1.9 yds of grosgrain ribbon, twill tape or cording.
Optional Button Fly:
- Button: One 1/2″ button
- Interfacing: 0.4 yds of fusible interfacing for fly pieces
