Weddings. Meetings. Dinner at Trina’s. Whip up a bowtie out of classic Liberty of London fabric or a lovely double gauze. Your bowtie will be adjustable so you can make it for yourself or as a gift. We’ve patterned a classic thistle shape. Machine and hand-sewing involved. We’ll throw in our illustrated instructions for how to tie a bow tie, too!
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: beginner – you know how to use a sewing machine
- We provide: Pattern, hardware, machines, and expertise
- You bring: 1/2 a yard of lightweight fabric (recommended fabrics are cotton lawn, lightweight chambray or linen, poplin, double gauze) plus a 1/2 yard of lightweight interfacing. Don’t forget that gather here offers 15% off all materials for any of our classes.
