Description
Pattern a Garment sale in uk
Everyone has a shirt or shift that they wish they had a pattern for. During this three hour session you will learn how to ‘trace off ‘ your favorite garment without deconstructing it! With guidance from tailor, Tazzy Cole, you will learn how to create pattern pieces for each part of the garment, add in seam allowance, and other details (a neck facing, darts, or a pleat). You’ll leave class with a finished paper pattern (you will NOT sew a garment in this workshop) which you can use to recreate your garment.
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: Intermediate. You are required to have made garments in the past using commercial patterns so you have the garment construction vocabulary to succeed.
- We provide: The space, tools, pattern paper, and expertise.
- You bring: Yourself, a garment (or two) – the instructor reserves the right to refuse certain garments that cannot be patterned in this introductory class, and a way to take notes.
- Class length: 3 hours
