Mosaic knitting continues to be a popular technique and we wanted to work on a project that would soothe our souls a year after the global pandemic truly shut down our shop and the world. In designer Shannon Cook’s own description of the Courage Shawl pattern, “The mosaic knitting technique creates a gorgeous pattern while still letting your mind relax, so whether it’s knit during your happiest or most challenging time, Courage will bring you solace and joy. Choose colors that inspire you, and wear this shawl bravely as a symbol of your own personal journey.”

Limited to 6 students (16 yrs of age or older)
- Level: Advanced Beginner – Intermediate (you know how to knit, purl, cast on and cast off.)
- We provide: moral support and great company
- You bring: This KAL is FREE if you purchase your supplies from gather here. A copy of the pattern (available in the store), Three colors of worsted weight yarn, approximately 250 yards of each. Unfortunately we don’t stock spincycle yarns (and they aren’t taking new stockists) but we think Malabrigo Rios, Jill Makes Stuff Windham, Noro Koreyon, Manos del Uruguay Alegria Grande would all be awesome substitutions. Or really lean into change and use your worsted scraps for the pattern shifts.
